Full Stack Developer

NorthStar Systems builds software that handles and structures large volumes of data for law enforcement and national security organisations worldwide. These are not typical web applications — they are complex, data-driven platforms where reliability, performance, and traceability are non-negotiable.

We're looking for a developer who is comfortable across the stack but naturally leans toward the backend. You'll join a small, experienced team in Aarhus where ownership is the norm, responsibilities are shared, and problems are yours to solve from idea to implementation.

The role

Most of your work will live in the backend — ingesting, processing, and exposing data through APIs across a distributed, streaming architecture. Services are containerised and deployed via Docker and Kubernetes, with observability handled through Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

You'll occasionally take on frontend work to carry features across the finish line, and interact directly with international technical partners who build on top of the platform. There are no heavy processes or lengthy handover chains — decisions are made close to the code.
